JNN Oct.25th. 2011. Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, speaking in a televised interview on Al-Manar TV Monday night warned Muslims about US plots to divide them.
He also cautioned the Muslims about the US efforts to deviate and hijack the Muslim countries’ ongoing revolutions.
“The US exit from Iraq is a historic victory for Iraq which is the result of resistance against occupation,” Nasrallah added.
Referring to US scenario to accuse Iran of a plot to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador to Washington, he called it an effort aimed at dividing various factions of Muslims, including Sunni and Shi’a Muslims, as well as Arabs and Persians.
US officials claimed recently that Iran had a plot including an assassination attempt against the Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel-Jubeir, with a bomb and subsequent bomb attacks on Saudi and Zionist regime embassies in Washington.
Bombings of the Saudi and Zionist regime embassies in Buenos Aires, Argentina, were also parts of the supposedly complicated Iranian plot, according to the US officials.
The Iranian officials have strongly and categorically dismissed the US allegations as a prefabricated scenario which is totally unfounded and a worn-out approache which is based on the old hostile policies of the American-Zionist axis to sow discord among world Muslims.
Hezbollah Secretary General pointed to Bahrain developments and continued that although the oppressed people of Bahrain have been boycotted by satellite networks, but they are continuing their way forward bravely.
“The exchange of Gilad Shalit (the Israeli soldier held captive in Gaza for five years) with 1,027 Palestinian prisoner proved that resistance is a fruitful option,” he stated.
Nasrallah asserted that the Syrian unrests are different from other countries’ revolutions and while Bahraini people’s demonstrations were completely peaceful, in Syria, armed groups have been trying to overthrow an anti-US state.
Since the beginning of Bahrain’s revolution, the Bahraini government has been opening fire on large numbers of anti-government protesters who have been taking to the streets across the Persian Gulf state.
Dozens of protesters calling for freedom and wide-ranging political reforms in the ruling system of their country have been killed and hundreds are detained in the small Persian Gulf country by their own government, while the Saudi troops, too, have abetted the Bahraini rulers’ permission to kill a greater number of the peaceful demonstrators there.
