JNN 11 Sept 2012 Islamabad : Senior Pakistani Shia Politician cum cleric, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) has said that the government is responsible for genocide of Shia Muslims. He also accused MQM of being invloved in Shia Target Killing.
Secretary General of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan, which has lately announced that it will actively take part in the electoral Process in the Coming Elections and will contest and will give party tickets , to its workers from a large Number of constituencies across Pakistan , which have Shia majority .
He was speaking at the concluding session of 2-days convention of the MWM that was held on Saturday-Sunday in Islamabad.
The MWM’s Senior Leader further said that it was obligatory on the ruling coalition to protect the lives of Shiites but they have failed to shoulder their responsibility.
He said that Pakistan Peoples Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) who have been the biggest beneficiary of the Shia Vote Bank in Pakistan and especially in Karachi and Sindh have never Passed on any benefits to the Shia Muslims Population .
He rather clearly accused “We have credible information that the MQM too is involved in Target Killing of Shia youths,” he also lashed out at all the other political parties of Paksitan for not taking any action against the culprits and supporting the Shias who are are real victims of Wahhabi Jihadi terrorism.
Allam Jafri said that the MWM is a ray of hope for Shias. He said that within a short span of time, MWM has organised itself in all over Pakistan. He said that from Quetta to Gilgit-Baltistan and Karachi to Parachinar , MWM exist now. He said that MWM has foiled the plots of enemies who wanted Shiites should remain divided and estranged.
He urged the party members to pay attention on further organisation and plan to continue to strengthen the party. He urged them to pay special attention to prayers . He said that divine help and self-struggle is needed to run the party actively. He said that since March 25 Nishtar Park public meeting, MWM remains on the ground because he has declared 2012 a year to remain on the ground.
