JNN 16 Aug 2013 BEIRUT — Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah said Wednesday that they planted explosives that hit an Israeli convoy last week and injured four soldiers who had infiltrated into southern Lebanon.. It was the Lebanese Shiite Resistance movement’s first claim of an operation against its southern neighbor since its 2006 war with Israel.
Nasrallah said that Hezbollah had prior intelligence that Israeli troops were planning to cross into Lebanese territory and that the explosives were planted to safe guard their Borders sanctity at any cost.
“We will not accept Israeli violations of our territory,” said Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah on Beirut-based satellite station al-Mayadeen on Wednesday.
On August 7, two blasts injured the Israeli soldiers after they crossed 400 meters into the south of Lebanon.
Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah told Al Mayadeen television that the bombing took place inside Lebanese territory after an incursion by two Israeli military vehicles. Israel has confirmed that four soldiers were injured in a blast last week, but it has not commented on the accusations that its soldiers had crossed the border.
“We had prior information that the Israelis were going to pass through this zone (in south Lebanon). Bombs were placed there and when they came that night, they were detonated,” Nasrallah stated.
“As soon as we know that the Israelis have entered Lebanese territory, the party will face (them) in timely fashion.”
“We will cut the legs of Israeli soldiers who enter the Lebanese lands,” Nasrallah said, according to a translation by al-Manar, Hezbollah’s official media arm. “We will not accept any land violation by the Israelis, and we will confront that.”
The war in Syria has added a new volatility to relations between Israel and the Islamist Hezbollah, a dominant political and military force in Lebanon.
As Zionist forces of Israel in collaboration with the Saudi funded Terrorist have tried to create an Havoc and Terror in the Peaceful Syria, to destabilize the Government of Bashar Al Asad , as this have even being proved that the Al Nusra Terrorist and other groups have even been given Medical care and other facilities by the Israeli Government in the areas near Golan Heights and different areas .
While Hezbollah has send fighters to stop the terrorist Infiltration into Lebanon and to give Protection to the Shiite Holy Shrines of Syyeda Zainab, and Syyeda Sukaina bint al Hussain , which the takfiri Terrorist are trying to attack and to destroy in the same fashion , as their Saudi Sponsors have done in the Holy Land of Mecca and Medina and have destroyed the shrines of the House Hold of the Holy Prophet and their Companions , and as they have even proved their ability in successfully accomplishing their Missions and are still stead fast in holding their Promise of defending the Holy shrines , so the Zionist US and Saudi Partners have become Dagger Drawn enemies of Hezbollah , and as now the Syrian Forces Loyal to President Bashar al-Assad’s forces, have even flushed out a Large Number of terrorist from the captured areas , so the Israeli Government is very much concerned about the potential transfer of “game-changing” and Balance of power in favour of the Shiite Hezbollah and and its friendly state of Syria.
Following the blasts, the Lebanese army described the incident as a “new violation of Lebanese sovereignty.”
Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said the four soldiers were injured during “operational activity meant to preserve calm for northern communities,” Ynet News reported. Neither the Israel Defense Forces nor Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office provided immediate comment on the incident Wednesday night.
Lebanese authorities have raised the alleged violation of the country’s border with the United Nations. The Lebanese army said last week that the Israeli vehicles were about a quarter of a mile inside Lebanon when they were hit. The blast was initially reported by the country’s state news agency as a land-mine explosion.
Nasrallah’s interview was timed to mark the anniversary of Hezbollah’s victory against Israel in 2006 . He is due to give a speech Friday.
The border between Lebanon and Israel has been largely quiet since the Israel-Hezbollah war of 2006, but Lebanon has complained of numerous Israeli incursions into its territory in the past in violation of a U.N. Security Council resolution.
The Israeli regime launched a war of aggression on the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah in 2006. The conflict killed about 1,200 Lebanese people and 160 Israelis.
