JNN 27 Feb 2016 Baghdad – The ISIL Takfiri terrorist group claimed responsibility for multiple explosions that struck a suburban area of the Syrian capital, Damascus, where Hazrat Zeinab (SA) shrine is Situated .
At least 83 people were killed on Sunday after the blasts rocked al-Tin Street in Sayeda Zeinab’s Shrine neighborhood, where the holy shrine of Hazrat Zeinab (SA), the granddaughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is located.
According to Syria’s official news agency SANA, at least 178 people were also injured in the blasts.
SANA quoted local sources as saying that terrorists detonated a car laden with a large quantity of explosives.
The bombing was followed by two other blasts after people had gathered at the site of the first explosion.
The ISIL Takfiri group claimed responsibility for the attacks, Amaq news agency, which supports the terrorists, reported.
ISIL also assumed responsibility for last month’s twin blasts that rocked the same area.
Some 60 people were killed and 110 others injured after a bomber set off his explosive belt on January 31.
Sunday’s explosions came only hours after twin bomb attacks claimed by ISIL Takfiri terrorists targeted a residential neighborhood in Syria’s western city of Homs. At least 57 people were killed and 100 others injured in the blasts.
Syrian Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi strongly condemned the Homs terror attacks that targeted civilians and said such brutal crimes cannot undermine the Syrian nation’s strong determination in the fight against terrorism.
The recent bomb attacks came as the Syrian army has been making significant gains against Takfiri terrorists on several fronts, particularly in the northern province of Aleppo.
Syrian government forces regained control of seven villages; Howeijena, Sobeihia, al-Rodwania, Rayan, al Qaroutia, Roufie and Ain Thabet at al Sfira area some 30 km to the northeast of Aleppo city. They also managed to take back control of strategic Faaouri and Riman hills in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
ISIL Terrorists Worst enemies of Islam & Muslims :
The ISIL terrorist group that claims to be representing Islam has become so desperate that even plans bombs in copies of the Holy Quran, Islam’s Holy Book.
Col Warren, a British army commander, said the terrorist group is booby-trapping areas in Iraq that they have been forced out of in desperation.
“These guys are disgusting, they have left bombs in refrigerators,” he said, speaking at the British Foreign Office in London.
The ISIL terrorists have even put bombs inside the Holy Quran, he said. “We found that on several occasions in Ramadi (Iraq).”
The Takfiri extremists have resorted to conscription and forcing children to become soldiers after a well of international volunteers dried up.
“We have seen an increase in the number of child soldiers, which is particularly concerning,” Warren said.
The ISIL terrorists made swift advances in much of northern and western Iraq, including Ramadi, over the summer of 2014, after capturing large swaths of northern Syria.
However, a combination of concentrated attacks by the Iraqi military and the Shia , Sunni & Kurd volunteer forces, who rushed to take arms after top Iraqi cleric Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani issued a fatwa calling for fight against the terorrists, blunted the edge of the ISIL offensive.
In recent months, the Iraqi army and the country’s Shia & Sunni Volunteer forces have made major advances against ISIL, forcing the terrorists out of many areas they had captured in 2014.
